Obama Wants You to Snitch on Your Neighbors
Do you remember learning in history about how the media was used in Hitler's erra to control the citizens of Germany. Everyone was scared of the Nazi's and was encouraged to turn in their neighbors, friends and even family if they disagreed with Hitler's policies.
Do you remember thinking how could this happen? How many times have you heard "Never Again!!!!".
Well, the following statement can be read on the official white house site.
"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov. "http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/
Is it me or is this statement the thing that is "fishy". What will they do with these collections of e-mails, and e-mail addresses. The White House seems to be trying to erase all of its opposition. This was also seen recently when 10,000 people showed up to protest the governments recenct spending sprees and then was reported as a couple hundred people. They are trying to erase your voice.
Oridinary citizens are speaking out, many for the first times ever showing up at town hall meetings to voice their anger and concerns. These are things that Obama himself organized people to do on the left, but now these same very things are being said to just being planted by the rich right. They are trying to belittle and discredit anyone who speaks out.
Don't sit quietly and let this snowball into a full fledged attack against your freedom.
